Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Think Talk Write Terhadap Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Siswa Materi Pokok Stoikiometri Kelas X MIA MAN 2 Mataram

Abstract

This research is aimed to find out the the effect of think talk write (TTW) learning model  toward critical thinking skill in stoikiometri subject among 10th grade students of MAN 2 Mataram. This research applied quasi experiment in the form of post-test only control group design. The population of this research is 153 students, that is consisted of all 10th grade students in MAN 2 Mataram that is distributed into six classes. The method applied in this research is purposive sampling. The sample in this research is 10th  grade students of MIA 3 as class experiment and 10th grade student of MIA 2 as control class. The experiment class is given  TTW learning model meanwhile  convensional learning model through lecturing was given to control class. Critical thinking skill is focused on stoikiometri subject in the cognitive point. Hypothesis used in this research is t test. The results indicated that at α 5%, ttest (0,21) < ttable (1,66). The average of critical thinking skill of experiment class was 68,08 that is higher than control class 67,88. Statiscally, these two classes indicated that TTW learning model does not affect the critical thinking skill on stoikiometri subject among 10th grade students of MAN 2 Mataram.
