Konstruksi Instrumen Analisis Muatan Penalaran Matematis pada Buku Teks Matematika

Abstract
This study aims to construct an analysis instrument for deductive and inductive reasoning content in mathematics textbooks. This study uses a mix-method approach with the following stages: 1) preliminary study; 2) design and review of the test instrument; 3) testing the test instrument. The validity of the instrument was tested through expert judgment involving 2 mathematics education lecturers. Reliability was tested through intra-rater and inter-rater reliability. Intra-rater reliability was through repeated analysis by the researcher with an interval of 2 weeks, while inter-rater reliability involved 3 mathematics teachers. The construction of the reasoning analysis instrument for mathematics textbooks contains 2 aspects, namely inductive reasoning and deductive reasoning, each consisting of 4 indicators, which were declared valid and suitable for use after revision. The results of intra-rater reliability showed a high level of reliability and several indicators achieved perfect reliability and the results of inter-rater reliability have met a good level of agreement between the researcher and the rater. Thus, the developed instrument is considered valid and reliable for analyzing the content of deductive and inductive reasoning in mathematics textbooks.
