Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran POE (Predict, Observe, Explain) Terhadap Hasil Belajar Kimia Siswa Kelas XI SMAN 1 Kuripan Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the effect of POE(Predict, Observe, Explain) as the learning model toward the studentsââ¬â¢ chemistry learning outcomes of the reaction rate at class XI IPA SMAN 1 Kuripan. The population of this research was all student of XI IPA SMAN 1 Kuripan. The sample of this study were XI IPA 2 as the experiment class and XI IPA 2 as control class, which were determined by nonprobability sampling technique with non-equivalent control group design pretest-posttest. Independent variable in this study is POE model and dependent variable is the learning outcome of student in the cognitive domain. Hypothesis testing process was conducted by using the Anacova test. The result of statistic Anacova to test the hypothesis at significant level 5% with db = 1:59 showed that tcount (15,24) > ttable (4,00) which means H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Based on this result it can be in conclusion, the implementation of POE (Predict, Observe, Explain) give better the studentsââ¬â¢ chemistry learning outcome of the reaction rate at XI IPA SMAN 1 Kuripan.
