Abstract

This study was a type research and develovment that aimed to determine: (1) the validity of the developed concept map-based Prezi media on the chemical element materials of XII MIPA, (2) the practicality of the developed concept map-based Prezi media on the chemical element materials of XII MIPA. The research design used 4D (define, design, develop,dissemination). A total of 20 students of class XII MIPA SMAN 1 Utan were used as respondents for a limited trial of the product being developed. The result of this study showed that the validity value using Aiken indeks V= 0.82, that is in the category very valid. The practicality of the developed concept map-based Prezi media can be seen from the responses of student that has a value of 82.38%, which indicates that the media is very practical. According to these data, it can be concluded that the concept map-based Prezi media as an independent learning medium on the chemical element materials of XII MIPA that had been developed are suitable for used in independent learning because it has met the valid and practical categories.
