Jurnal Biologi Tropis provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. This journal is open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to users or / institution. This is in accordance with Budapest Open Access Initiative.
Jurnal Biologi Tropis publishes scholarly work that promotes and fosters innovation, creativity and change in all fields of biology sciences. The focus is on papers that will be influential in their field or across fields and will significantly advance understanding in the following topics: Molecular Biology, Bacteriology Zoology, Botany, Biotechnology, Ethnobiology, Genetics, Ecology and Marine Biology. It provides an academic platform for professionals and researchers to contribute innovative work in the field.

Jurnal Biologi Tropis, starting in 2022, will be published in four editions per year, namely: January - March; April - June; July - September and October - December.
