Author Guidelines for Submitting Articles to BIOSTE

1. Submission Preparation Checklist:

Ensure the manuscript has not been previously published or submitted elsewhere.
The manuscript file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF format. TEMPLATE
All illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at appropriate points, rather than at the end.
The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

2. Manuscript Structure:

Title: Concise and informative, reflecting the content of the manuscript.
Abstract: A brief summary (150-250 words) of the research, including objectives, methods, results, and conclusions.
Keywords: 3-5 relevant keywords.
Introduction: Background, problem statement, objectives, and significance of the study.
Methods: Detailed description of research design, materials, and procedures.
Results and Discussion: Presentation and interpretation of research findings.
Conclusion: Summary of findings and their implications.
References: List of all sources cited in the manuscript, formatted according to APA style.

3. Formatting Requirements:

Manuscripts should be written in English or Bahasa Indonesia.
Use Times New Roman, 12-point font, and double-spacing throughout the manuscript.
Margins should be set to 1 inch (2.54 cm) on all sides.
Use numbered headings and subheadings for sections and subsections.

4. Submission Process:

Registration: Authors must register or log in to the Open Journal System (OJS) by PKP.
New Submission: Click on "New Submission" and follow the step-by-step submission process.
Start: Select the appropriate section of the journal (e.g., Articles) and agree to the submission requirements.
Upload Submission: Upload the manuscript file.
Enter Metadata: Provide details about the submission, including title, abstract, and author information.
Upload Supplementary Files: Upload any additional files (e.g., data sets, research instruments).
Confirmation: Review the submission details and confirm the submission.

5. Peer Review Process:

All submissions will undergo a double-blind peer review process.
Authors may be required to make revisions based on reviewer feedback before final acceptance.

Authors must adhere to ethical standards in research and publication, including obtaining necessary permissions and avoiding plagiarism.
