Peningkatan Aktivitas & Hasil Belajar Matematika Melalui Penerapan Problem-Based Learning Dengan Pendekatan Culturally Responsive Teaching Berbantuan Media Quizizz

Abstract
This research aims to improve student activity and learning outcomes through the application of the Problem Based Learning model with a Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach in mathematics learning in class VII-K SMPN 2 Mataram. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects in this study are 43 students from class VII-K. The data collection techniques used include observing students' learning activities and conducting learning outcome tests. The research results indicate an improvement in both the activity and learning outcomes of the students in each cycle. Classically, the completeness of learning outcomes reached 55.81% with an average score of 75.76 in Cycle I and increased to 88.37% with an average score of 88.63 in Cycle II. The percentage of students' learning activities also increased, from 74% (good category) in Cycle I to 85% (very good category) in Cycle II. Based on these results, the implementation of the Problem Based Learning model based on Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) is stated to have successfully improved students' activities and learning outcomes, as it has met the success indicators, namely, minimal activities in the good category and a minimum completeness level of 75%.
