About the Journal

Jurnal Pijar MIPA (ISSN Print 1907-1744 and ISSN Online 2460-1500) is an open-access scientific periodical journal published by the Department of Mathematics and Science Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Mataram. It contains research and review articles covering mathematics, science and science education studies in mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biology.

All submitted manuscripts will be subjected to the peer-review process following a thorough inspection by the editors. Jurnal Pijar MIPA was first published in 2006. During the period of 2006-2018, Pijar MIPA published twice a year (March and September). In 2019, the number of issues has increased to three issues per year. In 2021, the number of issues had increased to four issues per year. Starting from 2022, Jurnal Pijar MIPA publishes bimonthly in January, March, May, July, September, and November. Articles are written in Indonesian or English.

3. Before and during the submission process, authors are permitted and encouraged to post their work online (e.g., in institutional repositories or on their website), as this can lead to productive exchanges as well as earlier and greater citation of published work (See The Effect of Open Access).
