ISOLASI SENYAWA SINAMALDEHID DARI BATANG KAYU MANIS (Cinnamomum burmanii) DENGAN METODE KROMATOGRAFI KOLOM

Abstract
Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengisolasi senyawa sinamaldehid dengan menggunakan kromatografi kolom. Penelitian dilakukan di kantor Senyawa Standar Indonesia. Batang kering tanaman kayu manis (Cinnamomum burmanii) telah diekstraksi dengan menggunakan pelarut dichlorometane. Fraksinasi ekstrak DCM menggunakan kromatografi kolom dengan perbandingan eluen 1:1 yaitu n-heksan : DCM, menghasilkan sebanyak 20 fraksi mayor. Berdasarkan hasil analisis menggunakan Kromatografi Lapis Tipis (KLT) n-heksan : DCM telah dihasilkan 8 fraksi yang diklasifikasi berdasarkan area spot yang sama. Ada 3 fraksi yaitu fraksi A (10,11), B (12,13,14) C (16,18,17,19). Hasil identifikasi menggunakan GC-MS spectrometer menunjukkan bahwa fraksi yang mengandung sinamaldehid adalah fraksi B dengan porsentase sebanyak 71,36 %.
