Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this study is to improve student achievment on learning mathematic through improving quality of learning process. The improvement of quality process is carried out by applying realistic mathematic education (RME) pinciples in cooperative groups. This study is a classroom action research, which was conducted in two cycles. The results showed that an increase in student achievments on topic linear equation and inequalities, as well quadratic equations and inequalities. This result confirmed that apllying RME is important on learning process.
