Penggunaan Video Demonstrasi pada Pembelajaran Kimia di Masa Pandemi COVID-19: Tanggapan Siswa SMAN 4 Praya

Abstract
Pembelajaran pada masa pandemi COVID-19 memberikan tantangan tersendiri tidak terkecuali pembelajaran kimia. Kesulitan visualisasi menjadi hambatan sehingga perlu ada upaya untuk dapat mengembangkan proses pembelajaran yang membuat siswa tertarik untuk belajar kimia. Penggunaan video demontrasi dapat menjadi alternatif solusi untuk menarik perhatian siswa dalam pembelajaran kimia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dan menganalisis tanggapan siswa SMAN 4 Praya terkait dengan penggunaan video demonstrasi dalam pembelajaran kimia. Penelitian terdiri atas beberapa tahap yaitu tahap penyusunan video, penyusunan kuesioner penelitian, proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan video tersebut, dan tahap mengumpulkan respon siswa terkait penggunaan video dalam proses pembelajaran. Sampel penelitian melibatkan 42 orang siswa kelas XI dengan usia berkisar antara 16-17 tahun dan 1 orang guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tanggapan siswa beragam terkait dengan penggunaan video demonstrasi dalam proses pembelajaran. Sebanyak 88,1% siswa memberikan tanggapan positif dan sisanya menyatakan ragu-ragu. Video yang lebih menarik dan memotivasi siswa menurut pilihan responden adalah video yang menjelaskan konsep reaksi kimia dan kesetimbangan kimia. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penggunaan video demonstrasi pada pembelajaran kimia memberikan respon yang positif sehingga dapat dikembangkan video yang serupa untuk konsep kimia yang lainnya.
